Privacy Policy
Scribbly is made by moonclub (moonclub.dev). It has no user accounts and keeps your drawings on your iPhone. Only the Scribbly Plus creative features send a drawing to an AI provider, and only when you use them.
On your device
Drawings you scan or import, their titles, dates and categories, your children's names and your profile are stored only on your iPhone. They're included in your iPhone backup if it's on.
Creative features (Scribbly Plus)
- Stories: a description of the drawing's colors and, if you choose to include it, the photo of the drawing are sent to Anthropic to write the story.
- Organizing memories: the photo of the item is sent to Anthropic to suggest a category.
- Stickers and rooms: the drawing, with its background removed, is sent to OpenAI to create the image.
- These requests go through our server, which checks your subscription using Apple's transaction identifier and keeps only a monthly usage counter for about a month. It doesn't store your drawings. The providers process the requests under their own privacy policies.
- Some features use Apple Intelligence on your device; that processing doesn't leave the iPhone.
Permissions
- Camera: to scan drawings.
- Photos: to import drawings from your library.
What we don't do
No advertising, no analytics, no tracking, and we don't sell or share data with anyone else.
Purchases
Scribbly Plus is processed by Apple; we never receive your payment details.
Children
Scribbly is used by parents to keep their children's drawings. Children's names stay on the device. A drawing only leaves the device if you use a Plus creative feature.
Deleting your data
Delete drawings or children in the app, or delete the app to remove everything from your iPhone.
